Feodisia Sutehall is Operations Manager at UBDS. Prior to joining UBDS, she worked with the Department of Work and Pensions and was Operations Manager for the Royal Mail. Feodisia helps to keep UBDS organised and running smoothly and loves “having a lot of variety in what I do.”
What attracted you to UBDS?
The possibility to come in and work from the ground up. Working at UBDS is like working at a start-up, but with the benefits of a company which has been operating for years.
How have you developed your career while working at UBDS?
I have learned about marketing through the rebranding of UBDS, engaged with the process of recruitment, and started a course in HR. Helping with the rebranding of UBDS has been wildly different from the work I’ve done before – I’ve learned a lot without it feeling like work.
I am motivated to expand my skills continually and to be a great Operations Manager so I can work in an exciting environment, managing different areas and different people.
How do you work things out if you need support on a project?
The support I’ve had in working things out has been outstanding. The managers have a keen eye for details and perfection, and it’s helping me focus on quality rather than speed. I have become more particular on the small details!
How would you describe the UBDS culture?
The culture at UBDS is encouraging, learning-driven, focused, but also fun. The small size has made it easier and quicker to get to know and become friendly with everyone. Since my role isn’t client-facing, I don’t need to be in the office at all times and have opportunities to work remotely. UBDS is growing very fast, and I’m excited to see where the next year takes us.
What do you do to relax after work?
I like taking the dogs out for walks, I’m into science fiction novels, and I try my hardest to keep fit!< Our People
